This took a lot longer than I thought it might, but the next chapter of Notes From the Abyss Part II is ready now! Yay!

Oh, this is so late it’s embarrassing. Here it is, though! I’m going to be working on this or Out of Thyme for Wednesday probably.

I got caught up in reading Girl Genius again, so…yeah.

Hope you like this!

And so part one ends. I’ll start working on Part Two sometime in March, most likely. I’ve got ideas but I kind of want to let them settle in before I get started on it. That and I need to get this all packaged up so you can buy it for your Kindle! And your Nook! And maybe your iPhone if you’re unlucky enough to own one still.

I am still working on The Grey Paladin, a fantasy story I’m going to submit to a publication contest, and for the past two days I’ve been posting some flash fiction on my G+ stream. So if you’re curious, go check it out. Also be sure to consider Liking my author page on Facebook, which is conveniently linked on the right side of the screen here!

As before, please consider throwing me a bone to help me get along in life. This is a short week for my normal support payments, I’m only getting half of what I would normally, so anything you can spare would be much appreciated. ¬†Oh! Also. Please, let me know if you have any questions or comments. I’m always open to them and I love discussing my work, and other people’s work, whenever possible.

Until Wednesday!

Second to last post! Wow. I’m going to be posting something else soon, probably the edited version of Fake Cigarettes and Cold Coffee. I am working on two fantasy pieces right now, though, for inclusion in a competition (hopefully). One is about a group of Appalachian kids who exterminate fantasy creatures and clear out mines and other assorted dungeons, the other is a brand new fantasy world with a story centered on a woman who works as a psychopomp in her world.

At least until Monday, though, the story post focus is on Notes. Be sure to let me know if you see any problems with it, as always. Oh! And if you think you know someone who might be interested in reading, please don’t hesitate to thell them about the blog. It’d mean the world to me. It might mean a steady income for me, too, in the future, which is even more important than the world to be quite honest.

Oh, woe – my page views have been so low this week!

Followers, please, send a link to someone you know that reads science fiction or likes pulp stories. I’d love to get some more comments on my work, and some more readers, so I thought I’d ask.

Sorry I haven’t been posting articles lately, so much, as I haven’t had a whole lot of time and there’s a few places where it looks like my class article wasn’t enjoyed much so I haven’t felt the urge to keep up with it. However, if there’s anything you’d like to see, I’m willing to put the time into researching stuff. Otherwise I’ll keep it to myself!

Also, we’re getting close to the end of the story for Notes, for now. At 11 we’re done with the first part and I’ll be waiting a month or so to get started on part 2 – but I’ll tell you about my plans when I post it. So, look forward to that!

Also, something something donate, something something promotion. Blah, blah.

Well, it’s Monday. I hope all of you had a great weekend, I certainly did. Some quality time with my girlfriend and my first professional massage (which has left me so sore…so sore). I’m back at Starbucks today, working on a new fantasy story for a competition (it has to be less than 8,000 words, though). I’ve run into a bit of a roadblock, though, since I can’t put my finger on what makes a story fantasy so if you have any ideas, I’m all ears.

After the fold is the next chapter in Notes From the Abyss, I hope you enjoy it. Still waiting on a cover image to get that thing to market (and, if anyone feels like donating for the cover or even donating a cover, feel free. I’d like to get this up sooner rather than later!).

Let’s just assume that I did my begging-slash-self promotion thing here. I’d rather just give a heartfelt thanks to everyone that’s reading and enjoying the series so far. You’re the real joy since I don’t write for me – I don’t need to know my own stories – I write for you, to make your world a little better, a little brighter, maybe a little different.

So my hat’s off to you, dear reader. I hope to continue to see you here.

One last thing…the pun? It’s intentional. In case you’re wondering.
